Hundreds of Disney, Disney-Pixar and DreamWorks Studios films are coming to YouTube for rent, the Google-owned video site announced Nov. 23.
The titles will join thousands of feature-length films YouTube began offering for rent starting in May. New release titles are typically available for $3.99 each, while catalog titles are available for $2.99. Renters have 24 hours to finish their rental, and 30 days to begin watching. Some titles are available for free, supported by advertising.
Disney films available include Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh, both “Cars” films and all four of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies, including Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
“Check back in because even more of the great Disney classics and new releases will be added in weeks to come, including our YouTube Movie Extras with behind-the-scenes clips, interviews, and more,” Minjae Ormes, movies and TV marketing manager for YouTube, wrote in a blog post.
