Xbox Unlocks Applications

April 19 to 23, Xbox 360 users will be able to use the Xbox Live subscription service for free, opening up access to more than a dozen applications.

Normally an Xbox Live Gold membership is required to access many of the features on the gaming console.

MLB.TV, Hulu Plus, Netflix and Epix are among those lifting their subscription fees until April 23. Other applications available during the promotion include CinemaNow, Crackle, Dailymotion, ESPN, HBO GO, iHeartRadio, Last.fm, MSN, Syfy, TMZ, TODAY, UFC, Verizon, VEVO, Vudu, Xfinity TV and YouTube.
