Warner Bows First Social Network Series

As previously reported, original scripted series “Aim High” launches on AOL’s Cambio.com and Facebook

Warner Bros. Digital Distribution Oct. 18 bowed “Aim High,” the studio’s previously announced first scripted series for a social network, including Facebook and AOL-owned Cambio.com.

The action comedy series “Aim High” is produced by Warner Premiere and Dolphin Entertainment, and stars Jackson Rathbone (“Twilight”), Aimee Teegarden (“Friday Night Lights”), Johnny Pemberton (“21 Jump Street”), Rebecca Mader (“Lost”) and Greg Germann (“Ally McBeal”). 

Key to the program is that consumers can become part of the show by integrating their Facebook profile information - including photos, text and friends — simply by opting into the application on the show’s website or by registering on Cambio and linking the account to Facebook (www.facebook.com/aimhighseries).

“‘Aim High’ is truly an innovative series as it allows the viewer to become part of the show,” Thomas Gewecke, president of Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, said in a statement. “We’re already exploring ways to develop this technology further and offer additional immersive features.”
