Warner Home Video has named Rosemary Markson SVP of TV and special interest marketing, expanding her responsibilities to cover consumer and retail strategies for the studio’s TV DVD business.
Markson will continue to head Warner’s team that oversees TV and special interest home video, covering pricing, advertising, promotions, retail programs, consumer marketing and product development. Markson also is responsible for managing talent and studio relationships, and working with Turner and the BBC.
“This promotion recognizes Rosemary’s previously expanded role in retail marketing," said Jeff Brown, EVP and GM of TV, family and animation for Warner Home Video. “She is an extremely talented marketing professional with terrific sensibilities around the retail and consumer aspects of our business and her particular expertise in the TV category is unparalleled.”
Markson joined Warner Home Video in 1998 as marketing manager before being promoted to marketing director. Her previous position before this promotion was VP of TV and special interest marketing.
