6 Jul, 2017 By: John Latchem

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release HBO’s Westworld: Season One — The Maze on Blu-ray and DVD Nov. 7. The show is also being released on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, the first scripted series to be released in the UHD format with high dynamic range.

The show, based on the 1973 film of the same name, deals with a futuristic theme park where realistic androids help guests experience adventure in the Wild West. The cast includes Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden, Jimmi Simpson and Tessa Thompson.

The DVD ($49.99), Blu-ray ($54.97) and 4K UHD Blu-ray ($64.99) versions will include all 10 episodes. Extras include several behind-the-scenes featurettes, including three newly created for the home video release; the show’s 2017 San Diego Comic-Con panel; and a gag reel. The Blu-ray and 4K versions will feature Dolby Atmos soundtracks.

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack release of Westworld: Season One will contain three 4K discs and three Blu-ray discs packaged in a limited-edition tin. The 4K and Blu-ray sets will also include a collectible booklet.

Westworld: Season One will also be available on Nov. 7 in 4K UHD from select digital retailers. The standard Digital HD version of the show is available now.
