Extended Cut of 'Suicide Squad' Now Available on Digital HD, Coming to Blu-ray Dec. 13

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released an extended version of the hit comic book adventure Suicide Squad with 13 minutes of additional footage, available now via Digital HD.

Based on the comic book series about a team of villains blackmailed to perform dangerous missions by the government, Suicide Squad is the third entry of the DC Extended Universe, following Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The film earned $325.1 million at the domestic box office, and stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Joel Kinnaman and Viola Davis.

The extended and theatrical cuts will be available Dec. 13 on Blu-ray ($34.99), 3D Blu-ray ($44.95) and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray ($44.95). A two-disc special-edition DVD ($28.98) will include the theatrical version. All Blu-ray versions will include an UltraViolet digital copy of both the theatrical and extended cuts.

Blu-ray extras include "Task Force X: One Team, One Mission," "Chasing the Real," "Joker & Harley: 'It' Couple of The Underworld," "Squad Strength and Speed," "Armed to the Teeth," "This is Gonna Get Loud: The Epic Battles of Suicide Squad," "The Squad Declassified" and a gag reel

For the first time, all of the special features can be accessed on iOS and Android mobile devices through Vudu Extras+, available with the theatrical cut of the film when purchased through Walmart's Vudu streaming service.
