Wal-Mart Lowers HDTV Prices For Super Bowl

In hopes of drawing new high-def customers for the Super Bowl, Wal-Mart is lowering its prices for several HDTVs.

Consumers can find a Vizio 55-inch LCD for $1,298, $200 less than the normal price. A Vizio 47-inch is going for $898, $100 off the normal sale price. Sony 46- ($778, $300 off) and 40-inch ($668, $130 off) Bravias also are on sale.

The sale prices last through Feb. 6.
