Verizon FiOS Offers Kid-Friendly Summer Entertainment

Verizon FiOS TV and FiOS Inernet are offering many hours of summer entertainment that is child-friendly and also educational.

FiOS TV’s video-on-demand service makes approximately 1,000 children’s programs available at any time. These shows include content from Discovery Kids, the Disney Channel, Nickelodeon and PBS Kids Sprout. Also included will be content from Smithsonian Kids, including “Critter Quest,” a backyard safari in to acquaint kids with outdoor creatures; Kids Unlimited; Mag Rack Kids Club, for preschoolers; and En Español, which offers programming in Spanish. Parents will have the option to decide what’s off limits for their kids.

Verizon FiOS Internet customers can access Games on Demand, which provides hundreds of popular games available to download for a monthly fee. In addition, Verizon FiOS Interent offers more than 2,500 movies, music and sports titles for download via their Starz Play service.
