M-Go, the transactional VOD joint venture between Technicolor and DreamWorks Animation, has launched a Bollywood category featuring movies from Indian film distributor FilmKaravan.

Included in the genre is 2015 thriller Ek Paheli Leela, about a woman whose romance with her murdered lover spans centuries. The period film is part of an assortment of more than 24 Bollywood titles, some available in 4K resolution.

While Bollywood movies typically avoid sex scenes due to India’s strict censorship laws, notable to Ek Paheli Leela is its star, Karenjit Kaur Vohra, whose stage name, Sunny Leone, harkens back to her days as a porn actress in the United States, including under contract with Vivid Entertainment. Vohra left the adult entertainment industry in 2012.

“In the increasingly global film community, Bollywood content is incredibly popular with movie fans all over the world, including here in the U.S.,” Cameron Douglas, SVP of content at M-Go, said in a statement.

Neeraj Kalyan, president of T-Series, which produced Ek Paheli Leela, hailed Vohra’s performance.

“We are glad that this film is the centerpiece of the Indian film category,” Kalyan said.

Separately, M-Go recently bowed a virtual reality browsing app for Samsung Gear VR, powered by Oculus.
