HDNet Movies will air Red Cliff, a film by director John Woo, Nov. 18 at 8 p.m. EST, two days before its national theatrical release.
   
Woo’s Red Cliff is the director’s first Chinese film in more than a decade and is the latest addition to the HDNet Movies sneak preview feature, which is available to all HDNet subscribers.

Critic Leonard Maltin describes the war epic as “breathtaking”; it is a massive hit in Asia, and the most expensive Asian film production of all time.

HDNet is an independent network with unique content that includes movies, sports and live concert performances.
