In Demand Partners with Indiewire for Toronto Film Festival

Cable transactional programming company In Demand is working with film industry news group Indiewire to produce celebrity interviews at this month’s Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), with the content available during the films’ eventual VOD windows, across multiple platforms.

The interviews by In Demand Productions, the promotional production arm of In Demand, will be edited and distributed to cable providers Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications and Bright House Networks, and will also be available across digital platforms and social networks.

“In Demand Productions brings movie lovers closer to top talent through our original branded ‘promotainment,’ which reaches a wide multi-platform cable audience,” said Brendan Connors, VP of creative services for In Demand. “This compelling content raises awareness of titles on behalf of studios, producers and MSOs. It’s a win-win featuring the greatest cast ever.”

In Demand Productions has done similar work for TIFF since 2012, as well as South by Southwest, AFI Fest, Comic-Con International, the New York Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival and other film industry events.
