Cablevision Systems Corp., a leading media and entertainment company that provides cable television services for more than 3 million households in the New York metropolitan area, is expanding its Video On Demand lineup. The Free on Demand expansion will include top shows and more from Syfy (formerly the Sci Fi Channel), A&E, The History Channel, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Boomerang, CNN and TruTV.
Free On Demand programming is available at no additional charge to Cablevision customers with a set-top box. The Free on Demand menu can be accessed on the iO TV user interface. All shows are presented in high quality, with DVD-like functions such as the ability to pause, rewind, or fast-forward using the remote control.
