Microsoft slashed the price of the Xbox One in the United Kingdom, offering it for £399, down from £429, as of Feb. 28. The console will be paired with the game Titanfall.

The price cut is only for the U.K., though the Titanfall-bundled Xbox One will also be available in the United States for $499.

“The launch of Titanfall will enable us to deliver … a multiplayer game that will take advantage of the new party and chat improvements, build on the power of the cloud, and connect fans on Xbox Live,” Yusuf Mehdi, VP of marketing, strategy and business for Xbox, wrote in a blog post.

Xbox also announced that live-game-streaming app Twitch will launch for the console starting March 11. Twitch allows gamers to broadcast and watch gameplay live, chat with other players and join a broadcaster’s game.

“Over the past two years, we have seen the broadcasting and spectating of video games go from a niche activity to a pastime shared by millions,” Emmett Shear, CEO and founder of Twitch, said in a statement.

Meanwhile, numerous media reports Feb. 25 had Sony selling approximately 322,000 PlayStation 4 units during its opening weekend in Japan, three months after its launch in the U.S. Sony has now sold more than 5.6 million PS4 consoles.
