Universal Studios Home Entertainment streets the Academy Award-nominated musical Les Misérables March 22 as a Blu-ray Disc combo pack with UltraViolet and a digital copy, and a standalone DVD.

Blu-ray exclusives include featurettes “Les Misérables Singing Live,” focusing on the challenges of singing live on set; “Battle at the Barricade,” about the creation and filming of all the action sequences; “The West End Connection,” highlighting the producer of the original stage production, Cameron Mackintosh, who was involved in the filming; and “Les Misérables on Location,” about shooting in the heart of London and in the ancient city of Winchester.

Bonus material on the DVD and BD includes featurettes about casting, designing the set, a mini-documentary about Hugo’s original work and a commentary with director Tom Hooper (The King’s Speech).

Les Misérables stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen and Samantha Barks.

The BD combo is listed at $34.98, while the DVD will be available for $29.98.
