The 1978-84 series starred Ricardo Montalban and Hervé Villechaize as caretakers of a mysterious tropical island where guests could make their dreams come true. The show was produced by Aaron Spelling and Leonard Goldberg and stemmed from a 1977 TV movie.

The season-two set includes all 25 episodes from the 1978-79 season, with such guest stars as Desi Arnaz Jr., John Astin, Scott Baio, Vivian Blaine, Danny Bonaduce, Sonny Bono, Yvonne De Carlo, Troy Donahue, Samantha Eggar, Anne Francis, Jonathan Frakes, Annette Funicello, Eva Gabor, Peter Graves, Sid Haig, Florence Henderson, Celeste Holm, Don Knotts, Michelle Lee, Janet Leigh, Maureen McCormick, Jayne Meadows, Rue McClanahan, Roddy McDowell, Leslie Nielsen, Cassandra Peterson, Eleanor Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Regis Philbin, Robert Reed, Kyle Richards, Cesar Romero, John Saxon, Connie Stevens and Abe Vigoda.

The first season of “Fantasy Island” was released on DVD in 2005 by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Due May 22 (order date April 24) is Route 66: The Complete Series as a 24-DVD set at $129.99.

The 1960-64 series starred Martin Milner as Tod, a Yale graduate who finds himself penniless when his wealthy father dies, leaving him with only a Chevrolet Corvette. Tod and his buddy Buz (George Maharis, replaced after the third season by Glenn Corbett as Linc) hit the road on a quest for adventure and self-discovery. Guest stars included Barbara Eden, Buster Keaton, Boris Karloff, Burt Reynolds, Cloris Leachman, Ed Asner, James Caan, Joan Crawford, Julie Newmar, Lee Marvin, Leslie Nielsen, Martin Sheen, Peter Lorre, Robert Duvall, Robert Redford, Rod Steiger, Ron Howard, Suzanne Pleshette and Walter Matthau.

The complete-series set includes all 116 episodes, plus a Great Cars: Corvette DVD.

The first three seasons of “Route 66” were released from 2007 to 2010 by Infinity Entertainment Group, so this will be the first time the fourth season makes its way to disc.
