Summit Home Entertainment June 7 promoted two executives, T.J. Moffett to EVP of home entertainment marketing and Jo Dee Freck to SVP of home entertainment technical services.
Moffett, who has been in charge of domestic marketing for Summit as SVP of home entertainment marketing since 2008, will add research and analysis of theatrical features to his duties. Moffett previously served as VP of marketing for Warner Home Video.
Freck, who also joined Summit and served as VP of technical services, now will supervise the creation of all video and digital files for the studio’s DVD, Blu-ray Disc, network, VOD and electronic sellthrough. Before joining Summit she was a senior director of operations for the creative department at Deluxe Digital Studios.
“T.J. has been able to use his experience, creativity and innovative thinking to help create some of the most successful home entertainment releases in the industry for the past three years at Summit,” said Steve Nickerson, president of Summit Home Entertainment. “As the industry goes through evolutionary changes during the next few years, we are excited that he will continue to successfully drive home entertainment marketing for Summit.”
Regarding Freck, Sandy Friedman, EVP of Summit’s home video operations, said: “Jo Dee has been invaluable in the management of our Blu-ray Disc and DVD masters production as well as leading us into the digital delivery evolution.”
