EDDIE CUNNINGHAM, president
Leading Universal’s global home entertainment operations, Cunningham is helping Universal bridge physical and digital formats by exploring innovative new technologies and developing dynamic initiatives for the evolving home entertainment sector around the world. In addition, he oversees 1440 Entertainment and all third-party distribution deals. Cunningham also serves on the board of DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group. Prior to his current position, Cunningham served as president of Universal Pictures International Entertainment, a role he held since 2006.
MICHAEL BONNER, EVP, digital distribution
Bonner is responsible for the studio’s domestic digital distribution of film and TV product across all Digital HD and VOD platforms. Bonner oversees the license negotiations and partner relationships with cable, satellite, telecom and digital retailers. As a key leader of NBC Universal’s overall TV and film content distribution strategy, Bonner collaborated on the launch of UltraViolet and led NBC Universal’s Hulu co-partnership with The Walt Disney Co. and 21st Century Fox (parent of 20th Century Fox).
HILARY HOFFMAN, EVP, global marketing
Hoffman oversees strategic marketing and business strategy for new-release, catalog and TV properties across both physical and digital. She is responsible for defining go-to-market strategies and for leveraging new platforms and technologies to drive profitable growth. Hoffman has overseen the campaigns for some of Universal’s biggest revenue-generating releases and has been a driving force behind Universal’s entrée into new formats and technologies. She currently serves as co-chair of the DEG’s Marketing Steering Committee.
