Synkronized Looks to Millennium for Distribution29 Aug, 2012 By: Chris Tribbey
Millennium Entertainment will distribute content from Florida-based Synkronized, under a new distribution deal that covers theatrical, home entertainment and digital.
The music documentary Lady Gaga: On the Edge and the action flick Freight will be the first two films distributed under the partnership.
Synkronized was first founded in Paris in 2000, before moving its main operations to the East Coast in 2004. That year it began releasing DVDs and VOD content in North America.
Millennium Entertainment was founded in 2010 and is led CEO Bill Lee. One of the company’s recent releases included Richard Linklater’s Bernie (Jack Black, Shirley MacLaine and Matthew McConaughey).
