MAN JIT SINGH, president
Singh oversees all aspects of the worldwide home entertainment division, including sales, marketing and operations. Prior to joining SPHE, Singh was CEO of Multi Screen Media, the operating company that manages Sony Pictures Television’s TV networks in India. Singh has a strong background in technology, entertainment and consumer products, with more than 20 years of experience in global opera-tions, working in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. He was the chief executive of Talent Tree Staffing, and was also the founder and chief executive of several Internet start-ups, such as Futurestep.com and Compete Inc.
JASON SPIVAK, EVP, worldwide digital distribution and North American sales
Since 2010, Spivak has been responsible for SPHE’s global digital business, overseeing the worldwide distribution of the company’s film and television properties across all transactional digital channels, including Internet-based services and MVPD platforms. He also recently assumed responsibility for SPHE’s disc sales in North America and is charged with integrating physical and digital efforts as the business evolves. Additionally, Spivak leads SPHE’s digital strategy group, driving efforts to explore emerging distribution models.
LEXINE WONG, senior EVP, world-wide marketing
Wong is charged with the global marketing strategy for SPHE’s digital and physical distribution business across all SPHE film and television properties, including film acquisitions and new technologies. With a focus on maximizing the digital entertainment experience, she plays a critical role in formulating the marketing direction for SPHE’s digital products, including digital ownership, early electronic sellthrough, VOD and other related applications. In an industry first, Wong was integral in the partnership between SPHE and Walmart for the launch of Vudu Extras+ for UltraViolet titles. Wong also drives strategic One Sony initiatives such as 4K for SPHE.
Additionally, Wong oversees strategic direction for all of SPHE’s brand and shopper marketing functions, including media, digital and social, publicity, creative, content programming, production of added-value content, and operations.
RICHARD BERGER, SVP, worldwide digital strategy and advanced platforms
Berger leads digital license negotiations with cable, satellite, telecom and digital retailers with a focus on next-generation models and formats such as UltraViolet and 4K. He drives growth initiatives and innovation in the home entertainment division by developing new consumer usage models, enabling enhanced playback experiences and leveraging new technologies. Berger is leading a multi-studio initiative to standardize “digital extras” that enables digital retailers to deliver studio-created interactive experiences to consumers across platforms. He also oversees SPHE’s direct-to-consumer platform and digital supply chain services.
