2 Jan, 2012 By: John Latchem

Paramount Pictures rang in the New Year with a float in the annual Rose Parade honoring the venerable Hollywood studio's 100th anniversary. The 123rd annual Tournament of Roses Parade was held Jan. 2 in Pasadena, Calif.

The float, dubbed "Paramount Pictures: 100 Years of Movie Magic," included depictions of the famous studio gate and Hollywood sign, with prominent displays of Bumblebee from Transformers and the Enterprise from the 2009 Star Trek reboot. Also included were a bench from Forrest Gump, a 1948 Ford from Grease, and a replica of a World War I biplane from Wings, the first Best Picture Oscar winner in 1927.

Paramount releases Wings on DVD and Blu-ray Jan. 24.
