24 Jul, 2017 By: John Latchem

Kino Lorber July 21 celebrated the third anniversary of its “Studio Classics” home video label with the launch of KLStudioClassics.com, a new dedicated consumer website for the brand.

The site will include special promotions, sales, mobile compatibility, social media engagement, fast checkouts (including PayPal), early preorders, and other perks for consumers. Upcoming features will include more trailers, movie clips, previews of bonus features, stills, and other media from the Kino Lorber Studio Classics collection.

Kino Lorber Studio Classics launched in 2014 to showcase significant titles from the libraries of MGM, Fox, Paramount, Disney, CBS and other major studios. The line now includes hundreds of titles available on Blu-ray and DVD. Past releases have included Best Picture Oscar winner Marty, a 4K restoration of the Ray Harryhausen sci-fi cult classic One Million Years B.C., and films from Alfred Hitchcock, Frank Capra, William Friedkin, Robert Altman, Hal Ashby, Sidney Lumet and more.

Future Blu-ray releases include the 50th anniversary edition of The Good, The Bad & the Ugly (Aug. 15), and the Coen Brothers’ Barton Fink (Aug. 22).

Through Aug. 6, Kino Lorber Studio Classics is running a special anniversary sale, with 400 titles offered at more than 50% off.
