Allegro and Xenon Ink Distribution Deal

Xenon Pictures has picked up a new distribution partner, Allegro Media Group, effective April 1.

Allegro Media Group will distribute all Xenon DVDs throughout the United States.

“We are very impressed with Allegro’s outstanding sales force and with their long track record of integrity and efficient customer service. They share Xenon’s vision and are a great fit for our films,” said Leigh Savidge, Xenon’s founder and CEO. “This arrangement will be a benefit for retailers and consumers alike.”

Xenon, which made a name for itself with its urban and Latino titles, now has a variety of dramas, comedies and horror films. Lionsgate currently distributes Xenon product.

“Allegro’s traditional and non-traditional distribution channels are a perfect match for Xenon’s outstanding content,” said Joe Micallef, CEO of Allegro Media Group, an independent distributor of music, video and audio books.
