Air Bud Entertainment Unveils Promotional Campaign for 'Pup Star'

Air Bud Entertainment has announced a major marketing and sponsorship program for the production company’s upcoming Pup Star: Better 2gether, due on Digital HD Aug. 29.

Old Mother Hubbard Natural Dog Biscuits will promote the film on free-standing displays, shelf talkers and social media as part of their “Battle of the Biscuits” flavor contest.

Eggland’s Best will host a multi-platform digital sweepstakes for the movie with 71 prizes for a combined worth of more than $7,000.

Carvel Ice Cream will create a multi-faceted campaign featuring a custom “Pup Star” ice cream cake, a movie discount offer and a dog talent video contest. Promo materials include in-store displays, 3 million coupon book mailers and a social media campaign.

J&J Snack Foods, makers of Dogsters Ice Cream Style Treats for Dogs, is promoting a discount toward a download of the new movie on Dogsters Peanut Butter & Cheese and Mint Kissably boxes, freezer clings and a social media campaign.

Pottery chain Color Me Mine will celebrate Pup Star: Better 2gether at their National Dog Day events Aug. 26. Customers attending events at participating studios will have fun painting pet themed items and all kids will receive a free temporary tattoo and coloring sheet, while supplies last.

Ice cream cone maker Joy Cone Co. will promote the movie through a coloring contest, an online sweepstakes and a social media campaign.

Braum’s, a family-owned and operated chain of fast food restaurants and grocery stores in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas, will promote a Pup Star: Better 2gether kids meal campaign through branded bags, character-based premiums and danglers above cash registers in November and December 2017.

Slobbr, an app that connects dog owners with dog friendly places while helping feed pups in need, will promote the movie with screenings and host activities in theater lobbies.
