4 Aug, 2014 By: Chris Tribbey

The Xbox One has added two new TV Everywhere apps from NBC Universal’s TV Everywhere group: USA Now and Syfy Now.

The apps offer authenticated access for pay TV subscribers to episodes from both networks the day after they air.

“Part of the goal of NBC Universal’s TV Everywhere initiative is to give consumers the opportunity to discover our content on a wide array of platforms,” said Alison Moore, EVP and GM of TV Everywhere for NBC Universal. “Connected devices like Xbox One provide new ways for USA and Syfy fans to access the content they love in a whole new way.”

On USA Now, viewers can watch full seasons, current episodes and select episodes of "Suits," "Graceland," "Covert Affairs," "Royal Pains," "Rush" and "Satisfaction." They can also access full first seasons of "Chrisley Knows Best" and "Playing House," along with select episodes of "Burn Notice," "White Collar" and "Psych."

Syfy Now offerings include “Defiance,” “Dominion,” “Helix,” “Haven,” “Being Human” and “Warehouse 13.” Sharknado 2: The Second One also will be available, along with full seasons and select episodes of “Face Off,” “The Wil Wheaton Project,” “Paranormal Witness” and “Jim Henson’s Creature Shop Challenge.”

"The launch of Syfy Now and USA Now TV Everywhere apps adds a range of new TV shows and movies to Xbox One, including hit TV series, movies, behind-the-scenes video, original digital content and more," said Mike Nichols, corporate VP for Xbox. "Our goal is to help our customers have more fun, and we are excited to offer them an ever-expanding range of quality gaming and entertainment experiences with partners like NBC Universal."
