U.S. Internet users watched a record 14.3 billion videos online in December 2008, up 13% from November 2008, according to data from digital trackers comScore.
YouTube led the way with 49% of the incremental gain in video watching from November. Google sites led in video market share, with 5.9 billion videos viewed (41% market share) and with Google-owned YouTube.com accounting for more than 99% of Google videos viewed. Fox Interactive Media was second with 445 million videos (3.1%) and Yahoo! sites in third with 330 million videos (2.3%).
