Flixster App Comes to BlackBerry 105 Feb, 2013 By: Chris Tribbey
Flixster, the Warner Bros.-owned movie streaming and discovery service, is now available for the BlackBerry 10 device, with the promise of UltraViolet compatibility down the road.
The application, available as a free download via BlackBerry World, ties in critic reviews from Rotten Tomatoes, offers info on new and upcoming DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases, and allows users to watch trailers and buy movie tickets.
“As one of the top smartphone apps for entertainment, we’re very excited to launch Flixster for BlackBerry 10,” said Joe Greenstein, co-founder and president of Flixster. “When UltraViolet functionally launches in a few months, busy business travelers will be able to watch entertainment on a long flight or on the train home from work — and still be able to keep an eye out on email from the office.”
