The Entertainment Merchants Association has added DHX Media, OVGuide and Redbox Instant as new members.
DHX Media creates and licenses family entertainment content, owning more than 8,500 half hours of children’s entertainment, including “Caillou,” “Busytown Mysteries,” “Inspector Gadget,” “Animal Mechanicals” and more. The company provides programming for CBS’ Cookie Jar TV.
OVGuide.com is a search-and-discover site for free online videos, including feature films, TV shows, clips and viral videos. It gathers content from more than 6,000 sources, and has more than 13 million unique visitors each month.
Redbox Instant by Verizon is the joint venture the two companies launched in March, which offers a combination of disc rentals with unlimited online streaming.
