CBS Oct. 11 announced the availability of subscription streaming service CBS All Access on Sony Interactive Entertainment’s PlayStation 4 video game console.
With two monthly subscription options — reduced commercials for $5.99 and commercial-free for $9.99 — CBS All Access offers more than 8,500 on-demand episodes, including full seasons of current primetime shows, as well as previous seasons and classic series.
In addition, All Access subscribers can stream local CBS stations live in cities across the U.S., including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Philadelphia. Subs can also watch original programming such as “Big Brother: Over the Top,” the upcoming spinoff of “The Good Wife” in February 2017 and “Star Trek: Discovery” in May 2017.
“With the addition of PS4, All Access is now available on every major connected device platform,” Rob Gelick, SVP and GM of digital platforms for CBS Interactive Entertainment, said in a statement. “This is a great milestone for the service and gives our subscribers even more ways to watch CBS programming on their device of choice.”
All Access subs can also use the service on Windows 10, Android and iOS devices via the CBS App; online at CBS.com; and through other connected device platforms, including Xbox One, Xbox 360, Chromecast, Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Roku players and Roku TV.
