MTV has partnered with Facebook for a live streaming event Dec. 3 at 3 p.m. EST, two weeks before 20th Century Fox’s Avatar premieres Dec. 18, featuring director James Cameron and footage from the film, MTV reports.
“Avatar Live: An MTV News/Facebook Forum” will allow viewers to pose questions to Cameron (Titatnic) and two of the film’s stars, Sam Worthington (Terminator: Salvation) and Zoe Saldana (Star Trek), as well as show exclusive footage of the film. Viewers can submit questions in real time via Avatar’s Facebook fan page and MTV.com.
The 30-minute show is part of MTV’s “Behind the Screen” movie series. It will be hosted by MTV Movies managing editor Josh Horowitz.
