‘Zookeeper’ Game Lets Players’ Imaginations Run Wild

The fun-loving characters of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s Zookeeper — out Oct. 11 on DVD and Blu-ray Disc — have been incorporated into the Zoo World 2 video game.

Fans of the comedy, starring Kevin James in the title role, can play characters Griffin the Zookeeper and his friends Bernie the Gorilla, Joe the Lion, Mollie the Giraffe and Barry the Elephant, while breeding and nursing baby animals into adults. Players can add personal touches to their own zoo, and can design their own facility and even raise endangered species.

Zoo World 2, designed by RockYou, is in its Open Beta stage with more than 8 million users.

Consumers who purchase Zookeeper on DVD ($30.99), Blu-ray ($35.99) or BD/DVD combo pack ($40.99) will earn 12,500 Zoo Bucks to create and maintain their own zoo in Zoo World 2 (a $10 value).

Zookeeper is the story of animals that decide to break their code of silence in order to help their beloved zookeeper find love. It also stars Rosario Dawson, Leslie Bibb, Donnie Wahlberg and Ken Jeong, and features the voice talents of Cher, Nick Nolte, Adam Sandler and Sylvester Stallone.
