Sony Pictures Ups Borna

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has promoted seven-year company veteran Claude Borna to the newly created role of SVP, business planning and commercial strategy, Europe.

In the new role, Borna will manage the company’s European Commercial Group as well as its European Business Planning and Innovation Group. She will be based at the company’s European headquarters in London and report to John McMahon, SPHE's managing director, Europe.

“Claude has done a stellar job in establishing our Business Planning and Innovation group as an integral part of our business and in helping to build a team that has added exceptional value and support to our teams across Europe,” McMahon said. “In her new role, she will be well-positioned to lead the development of innovative strategies, frameworks and processes to drive the growth of our European business.”

Borna previously served as SPHE's VP, business planning and innovation, Europe.
