An Alternate Future

24 Jul, 2009 By: John Latchem

Ignoring the events of Terminator 3 and Salvation, the TV show “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” picks up after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, presenting Sarah and John Connor’s continuing mission to defeat Skynet before it is ever built.

Unfortunately, in a move destined to drive fans nuts, the show was canceled after just two seasons, and ended with a cliffhanger.

The upcoming home video collection of the show’s 22-episode second season includes several behind-the-scenes featurettes covering the writing, music, visual effects, stunts and other aspects of the show, plus rehearsal footage, deleted scenes, a gag reel and cast and crew commentary. The Blu-ray version also includes a deconstruction of the Hunter-Killer attack from the final episode.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles — Season Two will be available Sept. 22 on DVD (six-disc set $59.98) and Blu-ray (five-disc set $79.98) from Warner Home Video.
