Clerks

Clerks (Blu-ray Review)

November 09, 2009

Kevin Smith’s 1994 debut film 'Clerks' isn’t exactly a bastion of picture quality. The film has gained a following not for its visual style, but for its dialogue and characters. With its grainy, black-and-white image, 'Clerks' seems like a less-than-ideal candidate for a Blu-ray transfer. The end result is perhaps the best that could be expected. (Street Date 11/17/09)

Chasing Amy (Blu-ray Review)

November 09, 2009

While 'Clerks' isn’t the type of movie to take advantage of the Blu-ray format, 'Chasing Amy,' on the other hand, looks pretty damn good in HD. (Street Date 11/17/09)

Hurt (DVD Review)

November 03, 2009

Formulaic as suspenseful thrillers go, 'Hurt' has a strong story and plenty of twists to make it a movie worth seeing. (Street Date 11/10/09)
