Projections: No Gray Area for 'Fifty Shades'11 May, 2015 By: John Latchem
Universal's Fifty Shades of Grey should find itself surging to the top of the home video charts despite a protracted availability period during the week ending May 10.
The film was released on disc May 8, a Friday rather than the usual Tuesday, so it only has three days to make an impact on the charts rather than the usual six.
Otherwise, the top title of the Tuesday new releases would be Selma, the civil rights drama distributed by Paramount.
The rental chart should be led once again by The Wedding Ringer.
