Projections: 'Moana' Navigating to Top of Home Video Sales Charts13 Mar, 2017 By: John Latchem
Disney's Moana should debut at No. 1 on the home video sales charts the week ending March 12.
The latest of the Disney Animation Studios' animated classics line earned more than $247 million at the domestic box office.
Another Disney hit, Marvel's Doctor Strange, should take the second spot in its second week after debuting in the top spot the week before.
A bevy of other holdovers, such as Lionsgate's Hacksaw Ridge in its third week, will compete for the other high sales chart spots.
On the weekly rental chart, DreamWorks' Trolls has come off its 28-day holdback from Redbox rental kiosks and should move into the top spot, with Doctor Strange finally showing up as well, at No. 2.
