Projections: 'Magic Mike' Ready To Strut
29 Oct, 2012 By: John Latchem
Several new releases are strong contenders to lead disc sales the week ending Oct. 28, but the advantage goes to Magic Mike, Warner’s sleeper hit that earned $113.7 million at the domestic box office.
Fox’s Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter earned just $37.5 million in U.S. theaters, but should appeal enough to action and fantasy fans to post decent first-week sales.
Disney has Secret of the Wings, the latest direct-to-video Tinker Bell tale, which has received heavy promotion. Disney DTV titles usually perform well.
