Projections: 'Madagascar 3' Sails for Top Spot

22 Oct, 2012 By: John Latchem

After securing a $216.4 million overhaul at the domestic box office, DreamWorks’ Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted shouldn’t have any trouble topping the sales charts the week ending Oct. 21.

Other new releases that should perform well include Lionsgate’s political documentary 2016: Obama’s America and Sony Pictures’ That’s My Boy.

The rental chart should get an infusion of new titles, with several newcomers Madagascar 3, 2016: Obama’s America and That’s My Boy not subjected to kiosk embargoes.
