Projections: Light Slate Could Leave 'Inside Out' on Top Again

23 Nov, 2015 By: John Latchem

Warner's The Man From U.N.C.L.E. was the biggest new release on Nov. 17, but it might have trouble displacing holdovers such as Disney's Inside Out and Paramount's Terminator: Genisys.

Inside Out has already been the top overall title for two weeks, while Terminator: Genisys debuted at No. 2 overall and No. 1 on the Blu-ray chart. U.N.C.L.E., based on the 1960s secret agent TV series, grossed just $45 million in U.S. theaters.

On the rental chart, Universal's Jurassic World came off its month-long holdback at Redbox kiosks and should move into the top spot. That could leave Inside Out as the No. 2 rental for another week.
