Projections: 'Kong: Skull Island' Hopes to Be King

Warner's Kong: Skull Island is looking to take over the No. 1 spot on the home video charts the week ending July 23.

The film, a reboot of the "King Kong" franchise and a tie-in with 2014's Godzilla, earned $168 million at the domestic box office.

On the weekly rental chart, Broad Green's The Lost City of Z is looking to retain the top spot.
