Projections: 'King Arthur' Seeks Disc Destiny

14 Aug, 2017 By: John Latchem

Warner's King Arthur: Legend of the Sword and Fox's 'Snatched' are among new releases hoping to unseat The Boss Baby on the home video sales charts the week ending Aug. 12.

The newcomers are coming off a relatively light showing at the domestic box office, with King Arthur taking in $39 million and Snatched earning $45.8 million. Their biggest advantage will be prominent retail placement and the fact that the DreamWorks Animation hit is now in its third week on shelves.

On the weekly rental chart the week ending Aug. 13, Universal's The Fate of the Furious is coming off its 28-day delay at Redbox kiosks and should take over the top spot.
