Projections: 'Inside Out' Set to Score for Pixar9 Nov, 2015 By: John Latchem
Inside Out, the latest Pixar hit from Disney, should top the home video sales charts the week ending Nov. 8 by a wide margin.
With $355.9 million at the domestic box office, the animated film is the No. 3 film of the year as well as Pixar's No. 2 all-time hit.
Warner's remake of Vacation will look to make a good disc debut after an underwhelming $58.88 million at U.S. theaters, though the comedy is the kind of film that might play better as a rental.
However, it stands a good chance of debuting at No. 2 considering it's biggest competition for the spot will be Universal's Jurassic World in its third week, though it wouldn't be a surprise to see the dinosaur thriller maintain its popularity enough to take that spot.
On the rental chart, Warner's San Andreas is on track to move into the top spot after a three-week embargo at Redbox, a week shorter than the usual four.
