Projections: 'Hunger Games' Appetite Strong

27 Aug, 2012 By: John Latchem

Coming off strong sales in its debut weekend, Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games should carry its sales momentum into its first full week on retail shelves to land atop the sales charts for a second week.

Its strongest competition will be Paramount’s latest Sacha Baron Cohen comedy, The Dictator, which should find an audience on disc after a modest performance in theaters ($59.65 million at the domestic box office).

Both titles should top the rental chart for the week as well.
