Projections: 'Hotel Transylvania' To Scare Up Sales

4 Feb, 2013 By: John Latchem

The big Halloween-themed movies from last year are starting to hit disc and are ready to exert their influence on the charts.

For the week ending Feb. 3, the top title looks to be  Sony Pictures’ Hotel Transylvania, a family friendly animated hit that sucked up $147.6 million at the domestic box office.

Paramount looks to score with Paranormal Activity 4, which drew in $53.9 million at U.S. theaters.

PBS’s Downton Abbey: Season 3 also should perform well. Previous seasons have been very successful on disc.
