Projections: Getting Ready for A 'Jungle' Cruise

17 Feb, 2014 By: John Latchem

Disney’s The Jungle Book, the studio’s latest “Diamond Edition” Blu-ray release of one of its classic films, will seek a top chart spot amid a field of new releases with moderate box office success.

The top competition will be Lionsgate’s sci-fi movie Ender’s Game, which earned a disappointing $61.7 million at U.S. theaters, and Universal’s The Best Man Holiday, which earned $70.5 million.

Ender’s Game should find itself atop the rental chart, while Universal’s Riddick is set to move up after coming off its 28-day holdback at Redbox.
