Projections: 'Frozen' Looks to Overcome 'Legend'

5 May, 2014 By: John Latchem

Disney's Frozen has a good chance of topping the disc sales charts for the sixth time in seven weeks, if it can outpace newcomer The Legend of Hercules, from Lionsgate.

The other biggest new releases for the week ending May 4 include Paramount's romantic drama Labor Day and Fox's horror thriller Devil's Due, both of which have an outside chance of sneaking into the top spots.

On the rental chart, the top spot should go to Universal's 47 Ronin, which comes off its 28-day holdback from Redbox. The Legend of Hercules also should place highly among the rentals, while Homefront looks to continue to perform well in the rental market.
