Projections: 'DM' Minions Ready to Party16 Dec, 2013 By: John Latchem
Universal put two of the biggest hits of 2013 on disc Dec. 10, and it won’t be much of a surprise to see them top the sales charts.
The animated hit Despicable Me 2 is likely to lead the way, after a strong $367 million domestic box office haul and a huge retail presence.
Fast & Furious 6 should debut comfortably at No. 2 after taking $238.7 million at the domestic box office.
The rental chart will see the rise of two titles coming off a 28-day holdback at Redbox: Warner’s Man of Steel and Fox’s Turbo.
