Projections: 'Dark Tower' Looking to Reach Sales Heights

6 Nov, 2017 By: John Latchem

Sony Pictures' The Dark Tower could debut at No. 1 on the home video sales charts the week ending Nov. 4.

The film, based on the Stephen King books, underwhelmed at the domestic box office with just $50.7 million, but could benefit in its first week on disc from a dedicated King fanbase.

Otherwise, Fox's War for the Planet of the Apes is a good bet to maintain the top spot for a second week.

The latest "Apes" sequel is also likely to top the rental chart for the week ending Nov. 5, after coming off a one-week holdback from Redbox kiosks.
