Projections: 'Dark Knight Rises' Ready to Rumble
10 Dec, 2012 By: John Latchem
Warner’s The Dark Knight Rises home video looks to be one of the biggest disc sellers of the year. The latest Batman film drew $448 million at the domestic box office, placing it second on the 2012 box office list behind The Avengers.
Also looking to make a splash is Disney’s new Blu-ray of Finding Nemo, after the 3D theatrical re-release netted $40.7 million domestically. Nemo has never been re-released on disc following its first run in 2003, which is the top-selling DVD ever, so this new edition should prove quite popular with collectors and fans of Disney and Pixar.
