Virgil To Bring Korean Films To DVD

New York’s Virgil Films & Entertainment has partnered with CJ Entertainment to bring Korean DVD titles to North America, starting with action film The Divine Weapon in November.
The agreement covers 17 films, which will be released through 2010. They include Portrait of a Beauty, Modern Boy, Voice of a Murderer, My Wife Got Married and Venus & Mars.
“This is an exciting opportunity for Virgil Films to introduce films that have achieved such wide international acclaim, to the North American market,” said Virgil president Joe Amodei. “Throughout the years Asian film product has secured space on the shelves of retail outlets and rental locations. CJ Entertainment certainly delivers quality entertainment that will add to this product line.”
CJ Entertainment has been producing films since 1997.
