Virgil Films & Entertainment has inked a multiyear deal with Bridgestone Multimedia Group to bring faith-based, family entertainment to disc in the United States and Canada.
The deal accounts for 20 new titles and 42 catalog titles (the latter to be made available immediately) in 2009. The majority of the titles have received the Dove Seal of Approval.
“Now more than ever, parents are looking for entertainment they can watch with their children, reinforcing positive family values,” said Joe Amodei, president of Virgil. “We are excited to share Bridgestone’s product with the mainstream market.”
Titles to release this year include Second Chances, Where the Red Fern Grows, Finding Cooper’s Heaven, Clipping Adam, Faith of Our Fathers and Noah’s Park.
